About Dr. Shelese Pratt N.D.

Welcome.

I believe in individualized integrative medicine.  My practice is focused on complex medical conditions relating to metabolic disease. I use functional medicine and my expertise in methylation and physiology to help my patients get to the root cause of their symptoms through a strategic approach. The modalities I use in my practice are traditional and specialty testing, nutrition (diet and nutritional supplements), botanicals, environmental medicine, classical homeopathy, and hydrotherapy.

I care about you and your health story. Doctors should be great listeners and use all of our knowledge to help you find answers to your health needs. Empowering you makes for stronger results and lifelong health.

Many patients come to my office after seeing several other doctors. They are scared, frustrated, and looking for answers that no one has been able to figure out. I often tell people I look at medicine like I am a detective. I strategically look for the clues that have led to the current health situation. I will work with you to figure it out, no matter how complex your health seems.

Some of the complex cases I have treated have been Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), mold illness/ mycotoxin exposure/CIRS, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), learning difficulties (ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia), sensory processing disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, digestive system disorders/disease, endocrine disorders, autoimmune disease, and mood disorders. I use classical naturopathic medical protocols in my practice. I believe that each individual is unique and I tailor a treatment plan specific to each patient.

I treat the majority of my patients (national and international), at my main clinic in Louisville, Colorado. I run several lecture series annually. I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with groups nationwide. If you would like me to speak to your group, contact my office to make arrangements.

My clinic offers organization, focus, and foundations to health that benefit other therapies. Although I have many modalities, I prefer to use a team approach when possible between medical doctors, occupational therapists, Anat Baniel Method practitionersMNRI practitioners, behavioral optometrists, cognitive therapists, speech therapists, psychotherapists, acupuncturists, and other health care practitioners. I embrace the opportunity to work with your other healthcare providers in order to provide the best care possible. My goal is for you to have a team of doctors/therapists that combines our collective talents to ensure that you reach your health goals.

I decided to become a doctor after years of searching for quality health care. I know what it feels like to be sick and my providers couldn’t help me. I had life-threatening asthma in my early 20’s and recovered my health with naturopathic medicine. In 2020, I was forced to work from home and realized I was living in mold. Living in a water damaged building led to mycotoxin/mold illness/CIRS, MCAS and reactivation of Lyme disease in my family members. It was a whole new experience remediating my home and healing my family. I want to serve those patients who are not able to get the health care they seek in a restrictive system. I studied naturopathic medicine, and built my clinic with the ultimate goal of improving the patient’s health and quality of life.
